Minnesota Heads To Chicago
The Twins just finished a four game series on the West Coast late last night, but there will be no rest for them as they’re set to play in Chicago at 7:10 tonight.
Liriano will take the mound for the first time this season. I have high hopes for him. I’m really pulling for him to get back to his old self. Hopefully tonight will be a good start for him for the season. Unfortunately the Sox seam to have his number. He’s 0-3 against them with a 7.52 ERA.
He’ll be facing John Danks. Danks is 4-5 against the Twins with a 5.42 ERA.
The Twins are coming off a great hitting series against the Angels. They hit 9 home runs in 4 games, which is the fastest that Minnesota has ever hit that many homers. Hopefully they can keep up the power against the White Sox.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Jim Thome hit 1 or 3 against his old team.
