I’m still trying to figure out my posting schedule for these boxscores. I want to include them all, but there are SO MANY baseball games that I’m going to have to tinker with my schedule here and there I think. I think most of the time during the week I’ll be able to get the scores up the same day, but I’m going to guess that on weekends sometimes I’m going to run a day behind. I’m sure I’ll get it figured out though.
Anyway, the Twins came out firing against the Mets Friday. Slowey started the game and walked away with the win, giving up 1 run in 3 innings.
Offensively the Twins played well, scoring 5 runs in 3 and a third innings against former Twin and 2 time Cy Young award winner Johan Santana. Valencia and Ramos each had a home run in the game. Ramos went 2 for 3 on the day, as did Tolbert. Brendan Harris had 2 RBIs on the day.
